General Services

The General Services Department provides vital administrative, logistics, facility maintenance, and physical security support to power daily ministerial operations smoothly and sustainably.

Mandate

• Management, operation, and maintenance of all ministry premises, utility systems, and physical infrastructure.
• Fleet management, protocol, transportation logistics, and vehicle maintenance.
• Provision of office equipment, stationery, and common consumables for all departments.
• Coordination of facility security, access control, and safety protocols.
• Maintenance of ministerial inventory, assets register, and disposal of unserviceable items in accordance with guidelines.

Functions

• Ensuring uninterrupted utility supply (power, water, internet) to the Ministry.
• Handling official office allocations, furnishings, and renovation works.
• Managing protocol and logistics for high-level ministerial events, meetings, and official delegations.
