The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a mandatory one-year national service program for Nigerian graduates.
Established in 1973, its primary goals are to foster national unity, promote national development, and inculcate a sense of national consciousness among Nigerian youths.
The NYSC is a nationwide program with a hierarchical structure. The National Directorate, located in Abuja, oversees the entire scheme.
The Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre is a Parastatal of the Federal Republic of Nigeria currently supervised by the Federal Ministry of Youths. It is principally a human development outfit established for the training and moulding of Nigeria citizenry to become responsible and respectable citizens and leaders.
The Centre is apparently the only informal educational institution in Nigeria that executives experiential and Outward Bound education.
The Ministry of Youth Development is Nigeria’s leading government organization to empowering young Nigerians. Through initiatives in education, skills training, employment, and entrepreneurship, it strives to provide resources and opportunities that help youth realize their potential and actively contribute to the nation’s growth.
